Liongard, a software company that provides an IT automation platform to managed service providers (MSPs), announced the close of $17 million in Series B funding.
Updata Partners led the investment round with participation from TDF Ventures, Integr8d Capital, and other private investors.
Including the latest funding round, Liongard has raised $23 million to date. Joe Alapat, CEO of Liongard, said the influx of funds will be used to continue building a world-class team to advance product development and support for customers. Alapat co-founded the company with COO Vincent Tran in 2015.
Liongard Roar, the company’s platform, enables MSPs to automatically document, audit, and secure their clients’ systems from cloud and network to on-premise environments and beyond as they keep pace with ever-changing IT requirements.
The company’s solutions are used by IT service providers to quickly catch, troubleshoot, and resolve system managed service provider end-user configuration issues and ensure best practices.
Carter Griffin, a general partner at Updata Partners, said, “Liongard has recognized an industry gap and addressed the need for greater visibility in how systems are managed. The team created a valuable solution for MSPs, making the company an excellent investment opportunity for Updata.”
