StarTree, a provider of an enterprise analytics-as-a-service platform, raised $47 million in funding.
Series A investor GGV Capital led the round with additional investment from new investor Sapphire Ventures and existing investors Bain Capital Ventures and CRV.
Including the latest investment, StarTree has raised a total of $75 million to date. The startup earlier raised $24 million in Series A funding in May 2021 and $4 million in seed funding in November 2019. Its early backers include technology and business leaders from Confluent, DataStax, DoorDash, GitHub, LinkedIn, and Redis Labs.
StarTree intends to use the latest funds to grow its sales and marketing team and expand overseas, particularly in India.
Real-time analytics solutions providers have experienced unprecedented acceleration in recent years. StarTree says, over the past year, its enterprise analytics platform – user base has grown from 50,000 in 2020 to one million in 2021. The company’s growing enterprise customer base includes Stripe, Guitar Center, Pluto TV, Blinkit, StreetMetrics, Tribe, and JustEatTakeaway.com.......
